Exclusive: Samsung To Launch Its First Android Go Smartphone

There are several indications that the South Korean giant Samsung should launch a smartphone with Android Go, lighter version of the operating system created by the tech giant Google. It takes up less space and runs well on devices with up to 1 GB of RAM. Android Go Smartphone

According to SamMobile, who usually gives details about Samsung, the South Korean company is currently testing three variants of a smartphone – models SM-J260F, SM-J260M and SM-260G – in several countries in the world, including Latin America. Android Go Smartphone

The SM-J260M is under test in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad, and Tobago. The other versions are for Asia and Europe. Android Go Smartphone

The SM-J260G looked the same on GeekBench. It is codenamed “universal7570_go”, a signal that it runs Android Go. Its operating system is Android 8.1, the minimum version of Go Edition. The processor is an Exynos 7570 quad-core which is clocked at 1.43 GHz and has 846 MB of RAM.
